Five Night’s at Freddy’s creator Scott Cawthon, 43, has announced his retirement from professional game development on his website. Although he attributes the decision to the fact that he is now in his mid-40s and wants to move on to other things, the timing comes in light of recent personal controversies.

We knew that another Five Nights at Freddy’s game was in development as developer Scott Cawthon teased the project on his website. The image he posted noted the game would release in 2020 and sure enough, we finally have a trailer for the game in the apocalyptic year of 2020.
